OEM Platform
Igtimi’s OEM platform (previously known as µTrack) is a hardware and software system for portable GPS, telemetry, and telematics solutions. It provides cellular communications as standard plus VHF or UHF for mission critical reliability. This highly redundant system is then raised another level by supporting multiple receive and repeater sites to provide unbeatable real-time failover with minimal data loss.
For real time applications, redundant radio technology makes the difference. We don’t rely on short-range free-band technologies that necessitate repeaters on the water and fail when the going gets tough. It always performs.
NOT JUST GPS
The OEM platform is designed for customisation and allows monitoring of much more information than just GPS. Included, but not limited to; heading, tide, absolute wind speed and direction, audio and heart-rate. The platform has already been applied to tracking golf balls at golf tournaments, water metering in remote farm sites, and collection of meteorological data.
